Kaiwo Maru, a four masted bark.
This is an item from the Imai
Waterline series of sailing ships, it is the Kaiwo Maru, and this ship took part
in the tall ships pageant on the Hudson River in 1976, which was staged as part
of the Bicentennial of the USA. The ship is a four-masted
bark, sailed on her maiden voyage in 1930 and was used for the training
of Japanese naval officers. The kit is brand new and
everything is included in this kit to make a beautiful waterline model approx
11" in length that you will love to have on display.
Everything is included in this kit to make a model to be proud of.
